alongwithhisbelovedbird,Bellafonte,meetsupwithanoddposseconsistingofkid,whoisayoungsongwriter,aprostitutewhogathersmoneyinordertoopenobookstore,analcoholicgirlhauntedbytherelationshipwithherdeadmother,andthegrudgeybar-woman-ex-girlfriend.Thefiveofthemgetcaughtupinaschemeinvolvingthemedia,themob,politiciansandthepolice.Andtheydefinitelywanttogetthehelloutofthecity,probablytosomeCaribbeanparadise.
